1.2 Service Description

CitizenMap provides a digital platform allowing users to claim a symbolic "citizenship" of a country by purchasing the right to leave their username and a permanent message on an interactive world map.

2. Service and Product

2.1 Digital Citizenship

The "Digital Citizenship" is a purely symbolic and digital service that includes:

• Display of your username on the interactive world map for your chosen country
• A permanent message (up to 200 characters) associated with your citizenship
• Lifetime hosting of your message on our servers

2.2 Nature of the Service

This service is entirely symbolic and digital. It does not confer:

• Any legal citizenship or nationality
• Any immigration or travel rights
• Any legal, political, or official status
• Any physical product or document

2.3 Price

The price of a Digital Citizenship is $0.99 USD (or equivalent in local currency).

This one-time payment covers:

• Server infrastructure and maintenance costs
• Permanent storage and display of your message
• Platform operation and development

3. Order Process

3.1 How to Order

1. Select a country on the interactive map
2. Click "Claim Citizenship"
3. Enter your username (1-30 characters)
4. Write your message (1-200 characters)
5. Accept these Terms of Service
6. Complete payment via Stripe

3.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

We do not store your payment information on our servers.

3.3 Order Confirmation

After successful payment, your message will appear on the map immediately. You will receive a confirmation email at the address provided during checkout.

4. Right of Withdrawal

4.1 Digital Content Exception

As this is digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The service is provided immediately after payment
• You waive your right of withdrawal for this instant digital service
• Refunds are generally not available once your message is published

4.2 Exceptional Refunds

Refunds may be granted only in exceptional circumstances:

• Technical error preventing message display
• Duplicate payment due to system error
• Other technical issues on our end

Refund requests must be sent to welcome@citizenmap.cloud within 48 hours of purchase.

5. User Obligations

5.1 Content Guidelines

Your username and message must not contain:

• Hate speech, racism, or discrimination
• Threats, violence, or harassment
• Illegal content or promotion of illegal activities
• Spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Personal information of others (phone numbers, addresses, etc.)
• Vulgar, obscene, or sexually explicit content
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights

5.2 Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review all submitted content
• Remove any content violating these terms without refund
• Ban users who repeatedly violate these terms

5.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of information provided
• All content posted under your username
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your order information

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Rights

All rights, title, and interest in the CitizenMap platform, including design, code, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by Tigrilande.

6.2 User Content

By submitting content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, store, and transmit your message on our platform.

You retain ownership of your content but agree we can use it as part of our service.

7. Service Availability

7.1 Uptime Commitment

We strive to maintain 99% service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues beyond our control
• Force majeure events

7.2 Data Permanence

While we commit to hosting your message "forever", this is subject to:

• Continued operation of our business
• Compliance with applicable laws
• Content remaining compliant with our guidelines

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service "As Is"

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8.2 Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or opportunities
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Third-party content or actions

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service ($0.99).

9. Data Protection

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

10. Modifications

10.1 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the platform or other users

Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

These Terms are governed by French law.

12.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Marseille, France.

13. Miscellaneous

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CitizenMap.

13.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

13.3 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
